CARMEN RODGERS is a Dallas native, now residing in Brooklyn, NY. A versatile Artist, Creative, and Entrepreneur, and Advocate for her fellow artists. On stage, Carmen tours as a Solo Artist and as Featured Vocalist and Songwriter with the wildly popular and dynamic GRAMMY-NOMINATED band 'THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE.' Carmen has experienced success as a touring and recording artist, but has also worked on critically-acclaimed films and shorts. Developing an ear for music placement and an eye for content development, she has now served as Music Supervisor for several independent films and productions including "Lady Luck" (2016) which introduced Trevante Rhodes, breakout star of the Oscar-winning film "Moonlight." The song "Stay" from her third studio album "Stargazer" was even featured in the NETFLIX Original film "Nappily Ever After" starring Sanaa Lathan. Look for Carmen Rodgers on recently released projects "FourFront" by her touring mate Zo! and "May The Lord Watch," the long-awaited reunion album of rap duo Little Brother. Expect Carmen's fourth studio album "Hello Human" early 2020.
